Right off the bat, the cover isn't the most exciting and isn't something i would naturally be drawn towards. However, we can't judge a book by its cover!
At first i thought this would be the usual corny romance novel, however the more i read the more i realised i was wrong. There were fantastic aspects of a thriller novel weaved throughout, with some fantastic twists that left me utterly shocked. Usually i'm fairly decent at guessing the outcome, but i was quite far off with this on!
It was quite a nice easy read, one which i got through pretty quickly purely to find out why he ghosted her. One downside is that because only a snippet of their romantic days together are shown, i couldn't quite get my head around Sarah. To me, she just seemed obsessive and irritating at times and it kind of put me off. However, i think vivid writing style, the funky way its crafted (i loved how it wasn't written chronologically!) and the fact it isn't your typical love story deems it enough to be a recommendation to any fellow reader!
