This book was inexplicably genius! The author was so clever with how she unveils this story! To begin with I felt that this was going to be a thriller/mystery genre - I genuinely thought the main characters were going to spiral into something dark but in fact the plot twist completely caught me off guard. The characters were amazing. And the relationship between them was even more interesting. The connection between them simmered through the pages romantically, yet there was an even bigger connection there that we couldn’t quite piece together until the final chapters. I love the themes of forgiveness within this story - that even when you think it’s impossible, you’re still able to make amends and grow away from the negative situation that felt like it once divided you. These characters and this story represent hope and faith in life and love!
