The first look of this book grabbed my attention straight away as I think we’ve all been there where we like someone and they disappear off the face of the earth!
Sarah is a character you quickly get to know and understand that there are some dark secrets lurking, she’s very relatable and so is Jo the friend being the voice of reason.
The writing style is very conversational and we get to know a bit about each individual adult characters worries as the chapters take place in a car. We also know the novel is going to discuss different time period as it has talked about past and future in the small extract we have read.
I would definitely love to know how this story progresses and what has happened to the man Eddie and if he and Sarah ever get together. It is a very modern portrayal of how people meet and the trials and tribulations of this in the modern day.
