I love a good thriller and this one sounded perfect, I love finding a new series to follow where you can really engage with the characters. First off I loved the character of Charlie Priest and his role in the story. I found him to be an interesting character and can’t wait to see more about him in future books. The story was also good and full of twists and turns which I did not expect. I liked how everything linked together and how it was related to a secret society, and also how events of the past were linked to what was going on in the present. The story kept me engaged and kept me interested. The end was quite good, however I only gave this three stars as I did feel overall that some parts were a little bit far fetched and I had to concentrate quite a bit when reading the parts about the past to fully understand what was happening and how it linked to the present.
