This is a very good book and amazing first novel, I fell in love with the characters in this book and found myself cheering them on willing them to beat the evil threatening them.
Charlie priest is a very loveable character with a flaw his dissociative disorder, and an older brother locked up in a home for the criminally insane, for me, he's a cross between DCI Banks and Detective Jimmy Perez. His associate's Georgie Someday, Vincent Okoro, and Solly are a good match for him. I wasn't as keen on the arrogant and wealthy Jessica Ellender, she was a little rigid, apart from that and not being able to understand all the legal jargon, this was an incredible book, and I'm so glad I read it, it doesn't really matter if I can't understand the legal bits, I'm going to be reading the next one, following the team once again, I can't wait!
