From the first impression it is hard to understand,if house is scary because of paranormal events or a serial killer. So it makes you think and intrigues you. The house has a life of its own and is probably the most dynamic character in the book. This is a slow burner that combines mystery, suspense, and magical realism. And i love that Scotland vibe! I would love to read this book!
