A mysterious opening paragraph, filled with unease and mystery grabbed me instantly. As I read on I was keen to find out why Alisa has inherited The Manse and why she's been estranged from her father most of her life.
The cover hints at a litany of secrets and the first look at the book definitely suggests that too. I really want to find out more!
