I really enjoyed this book. I think the cover is bright and eye catching, with the blurb it definitely made me want to read the book. I was not disappointed at all. I especially found the setting of the Scottish Highlands an interesting change, it made the book feel more creepy in the sense that it is lonely for the main character with not many people near by. The book was written well so that it was easy to read and with many twists and turns so you kept wanting to turn the pages. The characters could have been developed a little more but overall the main character was likeable and the others were interesting and individual. I had suspicions about what would happen but the writer did surprise me. Overall I really enjoyed this book and it did feel different from other thrillers that I have read. I would also definitely read other books from this author.
