I was very keen to read this book as I have a recently enjoying other books based around ww2, it's was a wonderful account of what I can only describe as 9 brave, strong and amazing women, the story of the highs, lows and absolutely awful account of life in WW2, how they became friend's how they stuck together and what ordeals that they had to get through just to stay alive, it's a story of hope and determination for the family's that were missing and the hope that kept them going in the faith they would be reunited. I laughed and cried reading this book. I love that this book's was published to ensure that people of my ages and future generations never forget the awful crimes against humanity that were carried out by the Germans.i recommend this book to all ages and will definitely forever feel great full to the men and women who fought and gave their life for the world we have today
