I found it phenomenal the way the book was written, as a book, within a book. Especially as it not only explored the survivors own investigation but also the way the offender of the crime, who had retired from being “The Nothing Man” reacted as he not only saw the book, but read it too.
Although some of the details were quite grim, they made me reflect on horrors and injustices people face everyday. This book only motivated me more to do something about it, rather than just standing still and letting stuff go unnoticed.
Overall, the plot was thrilling and enhanced as each pages turned. I found it hard to take a break as I was reading this book. However, what I really did not see coming was how the protagonist actually used the book as bait to grab him; gain evidence against him.
