This book was such a surprise to me. I wasn't sure what to expect... I'd never been interested in espionage/spy books but this one definitely came with a twist!
The story itself of establishing who the "rat" within the secret world of security services could be and gaining and insight into the world of espionage was already captivating, but coupling that with the main character being a mum to a 3 year old with all that brings really had me in stitches.
Instead of having pens turning into guns or a cars that work in water, this book had dolls, sweets and other things left at the bottom of most women's handbag that ensured the safety of the country ! The chapter explaining the nursery's decision not to read Fairy tales due to their gender stereotypes and skewed opinions on relationships is the funniest thing I've read in a long time !
What a great fun read !
