After reading the preview for the nursery I was excited to read the book as it sounded more unusual from the typical spy thrillers and it didn't disappoint.
The story moves along at pace and had me hooked from the couple of chapters. Lex and the rest of the team at Platform 8, the elite assassin squad, are really likable. There is some good humor thrown in with how Lex finds herself juggling motherhood and her high paced job. At times I did find myself getting confused with some of the characters who cropped up and their nicknames.
For me the book lost a star as I had figured out who the villain was quite early on and with the intelligent characters i thought they would have been able to figure it out too but I still found it very enjoyable and I would recommend giving it a chance.
