I really liked this from the start! Such a good thriller!

From the start the story caught hold of me. Kate is a recogniser, who is so good she works for the police, until she has a car accident which leaves her with brain injury. She now can hardly recognise her own face let alone anybody else.

She is looked after by Rob, someone she happens to meet at the hospital, who has a lovely house on the beach and who leaves her down there while he goes back to town to work for days on end.

All things are going well until one day when she looks at Rob, she knows he isnt the same man. She then has to figure out if her recognition skills are returning or if it's her damaged mind.

The story is told from several points of view, hers, a friends and a police officer, and they are lovely, unputdownable chapters, so you want to just one more chapter each time! It has lots of twists and turns and keeps you guessing to the end!

Think I will keep an eye on this author, J.S. Monroe writes very clearly and I'd like to see if his other books are as good.
