I literally could not put this book down.
The story circulates around two main characters and builds on how their lives become intertwined over ‘The Pact’ which involves the story jumping back and fourth to before the incident and the months following on from it which builds up the back stories of their lives. The story start with Nicole found dead in her apartment and the story unfolds from there bringing in new characters as the story progresses.
Even though there were several additional characters within the story it was easy to follow and didn’t become confusing which can sometimes be the case.
The ending had a twist I was not expecting, as you always do, I made assumptions about certain people in the story but the ending on this one definitely shocked me!
A brilliant read and another new author I would highly recommend and will be looking for more from her!
