The Perfect Stranger is the first book that I have read by Megan Miranda and whilst it was ok I felt that an opportunity for a better novel was missed.
The basis of the story - a near death nearby and the disappearance of a room mate who upon investigation isn't what or who they seemed to be opens up a number of exciting opportunities which just didn't seem to have been taken.
The style of writing with the use of flashbacks made the writing jumpy and at times awkward. I also didn't really connect with the main character Leah.
Saying all of the above the book and story was not the worse that I have read or even close I just felt that it could have been so much better and that an opportunity was missed
