The premise of this book was fantastic, I was hooked instantly when first reading it. The ending was shocking and I loved that part. But the middle 100 pages just dragged for me. I don't feel like much was happening. Plot twists appeared that didn't seem feasible to me, and left me wondering what was happening and had I skipped a few pages. Overall I'd give this 3 stars, as I did enjoy the beginning and ending.
I think had the middle plot twists made more sense to me, it would have been an easy 4 stars. I loved the characters, and I loved the style of Megan's writing, which makes me want to read more of her work to give her a fair shot. This book was just meh for me, wouldn't really recommend it.
