At first I struggled with this one - the opening chapters didn’t grip me and I considered stopping reading. However I can only say how glad I am to have kept going - this book is packed with twists and turns you wouldn’t believe. So much happens so quickly it’s startling! The characters are deep and complex and I couldn’t look away! In fact the complexity of the characters is perhaps the best part as it really ties into the story. I like the cover - not anything new or amazing but pretty good. I loved the different perspective of reporter rather than police in the investigation. This book is so clever. As gripping as it is tragically sad, this book is a must read for any crime fiction lovers.
