The Quickening follows a peaceful society completely ran by women and the men's freedom has been limited. This includes punishing men from any past crimes they committed. The story follows Dana who created the manifesto and Arthur who adores Maya but does not agree with her!!
I am very intrigued by this plot and the world that has been built on Maya's ideologies. This book gives all the vibes I look for in a dystopian and futuristic fiction. It's also great to see alternating points of view and getting to know the different characters!
I'm also a huge fan of the Author's and excited by her writing style! It's atmospheric, compelling and immersive!
A must read for anyone who loves a good dystopian!
