I received this book for Christmas and was so excited to dive right in.
I really was on an emotional journey with the main character and wanted only the best for her. I was on her side the whole time, felt the pain and emotion she did throughout and was rooting for her to succeed.
I loved seeing the passion she had for making clothes and her talent was brilliant. However, the situation she was in was so intense and scary, that it really made me think about what people had to pursue in the past.
I loved how easy and quick this was to get through. The chapters are fairly short and the story isn't too long - it's one I managed to get through in one sitting. I can't recommend this hostorical fiction book anymore.
