I got through this book so so so so fast, i could not put it down! Nova is blind and doesnt know a world with sight, Her brother manages to persuade her to have an operation that means she will finally be able to see but Nova doesnt know how to feel about it, being blind is all she has ever known.
At a trip to the hopsital, Nova meets Kate who is sat next to her in the waiting room and they become friends and then more than friends later on. An unexpected couple who help each other in more ways than one. Kate helps Nova with learning to make sense of the world whilst being able to see. Nova helps Kate come to terms with her abusive relationship.
I was gripped the whole way through.
