This book starts by setting the scene in a historical period a long time ago in Marrakech where an English agent is undercover.
The author describes the scene very well so a clear picture is painted and enemies are identified quickly. The aim of the agents mission is not yet revealed.
This would be a good book and story for anyone who has an interest in espionage or historical times back in the 1500’s.
In my personal opinion this story is not for me but it is written very well, is very descriptive. The writing style is good and fits for the time period it is written in. The author is aware of using a words the reader may not be familiar with and follows them up with a short description woven into the story. It seems to be a story that will unravel secrets as it goes along.
