I cannot praise this book enough I have read most of the series and the characters and plots get better with each one. I am now an ardent fan of S W Perry and await with baited breath the next instalment . The main characters Nicholas and Bianca are strong , likeable and there is a continuous will they or won't they become a couple . Their detective skills and reasoning behind the murders are cleverly though out and the author has researched the time period well and linked the stories in with the current plot era . There is always of course a team of baddies with illegal and gruesome outcomes and Bianca and Nicholas are on hand to thwart their deadly deeds and save their lives and London .
