Historical isn't normally my thing, but this is brilliant!
I'm not usually a fan of historical books but this has certainly piqued my interest! I feel so invested after reading the first few chapters that I need to know what happens next!
The plot sounds interesting with a fascinating historical period to explore. I've heard of the author but never had the chance to read any of their books previously. Definitely a book I will be looking out for!
