I enjoyed this book, although it wasn't quite the female kick-ass protagonist I expected.
Attica is a spy who gets involved in a complicated plot of the uprising in France. And although she is a very likeable character, she isn't the strong female I expected.
The politics behind the story were quite complicated and at times, I was a little confused about the story. Saying that, I still enjoyed it and managed to follow the plot.
I haven't read the previous title by this author and I wonder if this maybe would have helped me follow the story a little better. After reading this book, I would definitely read another by the author, I liked the writing style and felt it was an easy to read style.
