A second fast moving entertaining romp through France in 1789.
Lady Attica Morgan, an English spy is in Paris with Jemmy Avery an American Pirate and they are helping nobles to escape from France and supporting the antislavery cause to get the French Rights of Man legislation signed.
The plot gallops along keeping you reading just one more chapter. It is well written with good characterisation and follows C. S. Quinn’s The Bastille Spy as a good follow on but would be just as enjoyable read as a stand-alone novel.
I have no hesitation in recommending this novel to readers of both Historical and action adventure genres. I look forward to the next book in the series - hopefully it will be soon!
