This is not a book I would usually read, but it was absolutely amazing and I'm glad I did.
This book was really intriguing and interesting from the start. Even though I had not read the first book 'The Bastille spy' I found it really easy to understand and follow. I will definitely be checking out the first book to see how all of this begun.
The book follows the female English spy Attica on a mission to help the nobles escape in France, alongside the reformed pirate Jemmy who spends a vital role in keeping her alive.
I really liked the character Attica, she was feisty and smart. The book was full of adventure and action packed. I also really liked how the book ends, suggesting that there may be another book.
I would definitely recommend reading this book!
