Why do you love your child? Is it because they're a straight A student, a talented footballer? Or is it simply because they're yours?
This question has most likely dwelled upon the minds of parents worldwide. This plot is really interesting as it shows that there's more to love than the simply meets the eye. It raises the question that perhaps love fluctuates with materialistic things.
Many of us fall guilty of 'loving' things unnecessarily but what if a parents love wasn't the presupposed unconditional. What if the only reason parents love their children is because any other options are below the expectations of society. They wanted to appear as good parents, the word which so often carries connotations of love, thus they love or at least appear to love. Questioning everything we've been brought up to believe.
