I really enjoyed this novel. It was very different to wait I would usually choose.
The characters were described so well that you actually felt that you knew them.
The negotiators side of the event was also so detailed that it gave a really good insight to how these people work and the impact on their families.
The hostage taker, you started thinking was a not very nice person, but as the story developed you actually felt really sorry for.
The hostages and the developing relationships with the young man who had taken them hostage, and truly frightened them was eye opening and thought provoking.
I found that as the story line progressed really being drawn in and feeling and wanting this poor young man to receive the help he obviously needed.
