This was a book that I just couldn't put down at all. I read it in one sitting from the start to finish and wow, what a whirlwind adventure you get from the very first page.
Written with great characters and great backgrounds, the author has really thought out each story line for each character. We start with the present and go back and forth as we find out more of the history and the reasoning behind the incident in the cafe.
You get an emotional range within each of the characters and a close up view of their lives in between each chapter. Normally chapters which have multiply changes between characters annoy me as well as take away from the story line sometimes, but with this book, the author does nothing of that. If anything, it helps to bring the novel together with warmth and with fear and other emotions that I can't think of right now.
I'm not ashamed to say that I teared up near the end of the book, and that's quite hard to do. Full Kudo's to the author on writing an amazing book and one of the best ones that I have read in a long time.
