I am so disappointed to have finished this book!! I just wanted to keep reading and see the characters' lives continue to unfold.
I'm normally not too keen on books that change perspectives, but this one held my attention throughout. I only - very reluctantly - put the book down, and that was to feed my cats.
The characters were all phenomenally written and I became emotionally invested in what happened to them all, especially the further into the book I got. I feel this was added to by the clever little nods to real-life events, which made the characters feel more real, where perhaps they wouldn't have done without this attention to detail.
I fully intend to look at other works by this author, which is perhaps the highest praise I can give it - not only did I enjoy it, but I want to read more of her work!
