What started as an ordinary day turned into a nightmare situation! The story revolves around a young man who storms into a cafe with a gun and shoots the owner. He then holds the customers who didn't escape as hostages. There are 3 main hostages and you are told a little of their backgrounds and the story unfolds why Sam decided that today was the day that he would do what he did...I changed my mind so many times on the character of Sam - Hated him and then loved him. The author trickles little bits of each of the hostages personal lives as the story unfolds and I was completely engrossed in them. Mutesi was my favourite charachter and I cried trying to imagine her life before. Overall a terrific read and fantastic page turner.
