This is the second book I have read by this author and he doesn’t disappoint. Love his type of writing and how he builds on the original characters from the other book. Nicholas and Bianca are likeable rebel like main characters who get into a variety of scraps. Perry is brilliant at setting the historical scene of the 1590s and has researched and depicted the time period brilliantly . He delves into medicine ideas of the time and also into the religions and treason to the queen and country which were on going and policed . He shows how difficult life was at that era and conspiracies that were hidden behind closed doors .The plot was addictive and I cannot wait till the next chapter in the series as I am now a firm fan
