What I liked most about the opening few chapters of this book is that you are given enough details of the characters that you get a sense of who they are, while also wanting to know so much more about them. This really draws you in. The story also seems to be developing at a fast enough pace that it's engaging and you don't want to put it down, but not so fast that you're lost.
The cover of this book is also intriguing, it sells the book in three sentences, and the pictures sets the imagination going.
