A fantastic debut novel from a new Swedish author .The story is well translated and gives a lovely eerie and hollow atmosphere based on missing love. The main characters all have many flaws and although they have your sympathy are not always likeable . Lelle’s daughter went missing 3 years ago and the story is based around his perseverance into what happened and his continual daily struggle to find out the truth . This is entwined with more disappearances in the area and the arrival of a new family .This looks like there may be a follow on storyline so I am waiting with baited breath as I thoroughly enjoyed this book and author and I am hoping for more of the same . The overall cover and artwork went well with the story and I would have chosen this from the bookshop
