I’ve begun getting more into historical fiction lately and the cover of this book drew me in. The aged paper stamped with a wax seal of a likely family crest suggests a thrilling tale ahead. It was interesting the little character introductions in the beginning of the extract much like a play but also helpful in understanding the dynamic between characters.
