I didn’t quite know what I would think of this book as it it something not so familiar to me, although I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
The plot line moves along at a mostly good rate and the protagonist’s emotions and thoughts were effectively conveyed.
Like many other readers. I must say that the rich descriptions and small details allowed one to really connect to the writing and the author did a magnificent job and making the writing feel authentic to the time period.
I have to say what drew me into the book has to be the cover. It was so intriguing since it did not uncover too much about what the book was about... these are the kind of books I like to read! Once I received the book, the cover was even nicer in person!! Moreover, the title did not give anything away about the book, but after I read the synopsis I knew I should give this book a go!
