The cover itself is enough to catch someone's eye on the shelf. Any mystery/thriller lover would have to pick up this book after looking at the cover. The blurb is enough to persuade someone to read the book and the opening is intriguing and captivating enough to make someone read the entire book. The idea of betrayal in this book seems engaging but what's more is the characters seem appealing as well. The plot seems to be well thought out and I'm very curious to see how this book ends. It's definitely a book I would pick up and read, especially if I'm in a reading slump. I'm curious to see how the plot thickens and how the story unravels, to learn more about the characters and see their development.

The writing style is quite easy to follow which is extremely handy if you want to get out of a reading slump. It would be interesting to see how the writing progresses as the story continues.
