This book confused me so much. I joined in with @tandemcollectiveuk prompt cards and found I couldn't answer the questions because I had no clue what was going on in places. I was glad I was able to see others' responses to the questions!
This book is half thriller and half fantasy, written in dual narrative, and I have to admit that I'm not a massive fan of fantasy which may be why I found it hard to engage with the text. But the thriller side of it I did really enjoy.
Erma's story was great and had me hooked but Sero's not so much and I still feel like there's a lot of the story I didn't understand? I did however like the use of the Choose Your Own Adventure story as it made the book really unique.
I didn't really like any of the characters and I felt it was quite hard to keep track of some of them. But all in all, I did enjoy this book and would recommend it, especially to people who like both fantasy and thriller.
