I was a massive fan of the make your own adventure style books, and I liked that the author incorporated something similar halfway through the story.
However, this was a very confusing read. It started off well with an intriguing first impressions with Erma and Jenny, and then it just went a little to pot. I didn’t like how the character Sero the Barbarians story was interwoven between chapters of Erma, but as you continue to read you understand the connection between the two. Even though the story was a little confusing I seemed to have it read through it super quickly. What would have been a good idea is of the whole book was a make up your own adventure style of reading.
Even so, despite the confusing nature at times, overall the book was an ok read, nothing to really relate it to the title at all, but generally an average book. Possibly room for a sequel
