The Spiral caught me by the massive eye on the front cover and as it was staring at me into my soul I knew I had to read it and I’m very glad that I did m. The blurb was the last straw for me and I knew that I had to read about this book. The spiral isn’t my go to type of book and it’s abnormal uniqueness definitely took me off guard.
The spiral is an interesting concept and I think you will probably either think it's a stunning work of genius or you'll find it irritating, convoluted and ultimately unsatisfying.
I fall somewhere in the middle. I wiped the floor with about 3/4 of the novel and due to its crime story with a touch of fantasy dream I was SO intrigued to see where it would go and while I think the ending was good however was definitely a difficult abnormal read for me!
Overall I really liked how unique the book was even though it caught me off guard!
