When I first started reading this book I was throughly enjoying it, but then it taking a turn and it had me confused thinking I had picked up a different book!!!
The story starts with erma a university lecturer holidaying in Spain, being called up for a disciplinary hearing for misconduct of a personal nature, she assumes it’s her co-worker Jenny who is absent and can’t be found. Until she arrives at remade apartment and shoots erma and then herself.... erma survives and starts looking into what has happened and to find the research for her book that Jenny had which included the first interview with a reclusive write your own author.
After this it started to get a bit weird and I kept having to reread certain parts....
Overall it’s not one of the best books I have ever read and don’t think I would go out of my way to read another one like this.
