Very rarely would I give a really poor review... but I have promised honesty...
From the book cover I was promised a thriller; what I received was a confusing mix up of genres... not really making sense and a book that irritated rather than enjoyed.
Emma, the main character had no redeeming qualities that could let me empathise with her . A thoroughly despicable human being with no morals. If anything I am more cross with myself for even persevering through this book’s entirety , it really wasn’t worth my time or effort!
I remember the books where you chose which story line to follow ; go to page 43 if you follow the path/ go to page 44 if you go off the path into the forest and such like ...
With this one I wish it had given the option on page 5 close the book, put it down, and go and make yourself a nice cup of tea !
Can I, would I , recommend this book , sadly not.
