There is kind of an enemies to lovers in a very basic sense. She keeps meeting a man called William Harrier recurring who thinks civil wars are a means to an end. He is a careless mysterious figure.
It is a tale of adventure and loss, sacrifice and love, with a unique and unforgettable heroine at its heart.
It sounds like a book that would have been really up my street but I think the book went on for a little too long and it really lost me in parts. It did have some redeeming qualities but overall it wasn’t for me.
