Even though this book is about the Holocaust and Auschwitz there is a persistent, deliberate sense of censorship. As it is in most books about the holocaust, there will be scenes in this book that are difficult to read but it is rightly so. Even after so many years, it is still so important that we are reminded of the horrific acts that took place. We need to remember that even though this is a novel, these things happened and I thank the author for reminding us. Seems like a very powerful novel. I love historical fiction and memoirs and I own many memoirs of true accounts from the Holocaust.

I'm rather sad i couldn't carry on reading this, it's ever so intriguing! I can't wait to get a copy.

I love the cover! It creates a sense of foreboding and really looks wonderful.
