This is by far the best book that I’ve ever read - Heather Morris excels at creating an engaging and exciting story that makes you hang on her every word. At times you will cry, at other times you will chuckle or be astounded by how beautiful it is. This book demonstrates some of the best and worst of humanity at the same time, and while it may be slightly altered it still reminds us that we must never forget what happened during World War Two and we must make sure that it never ever happens again. Furthermore, Morris’ style ensures that even during the seemingly most mundane parts of the book you still want to keep reading and find out what happens next. As individual people, you root for them throughout and reading about some of these horrific atrocities might even give you somewhat of an interest in history and the World War Two conflict itself.
