I was hooked from the first page, I started reading it on Wednesday and I am here Saturday night in tears with the book finished.
I cannot explain how much this book moved me, it is both full of joy, happiness and love. Yet tells the tale of such evil and wrong doing.
Lale and Gita, two beautiful souls who show that love conquers all. Through all they both went through, showing perseverance and hope that one day, all will be different. They both believed and it happened. The pain they went through cannot be imagined and my heart truly breaks knowing it did.
The way in which Heather Morris captured his story and told the world is extraordinary. The pure passion she tells and shows throughout and till the end, telling her story of meeting Lale, travelling to his home town and even more - that’s what amazing writers do.
I will be reading this again in years to come, feeling the same wave emotions throughout.
