I thought that this book would be very difficult to read due to the subject of concentration camps in the second world war. However I was very surprised as i read this book in two days as it captured my heart! I love the character and what a kind and romantic person he was. I really enjoyed learning about the job of the tatooist as I have never come across anything about this before. It was lovely for this story to have a happy ending and that it was a true story so was really endearing having some photos of him and his wife from early days to when they were in their later years. This book will definitely stay with me and be recommended to friends and family. It was written very very well.
