Firstly, I think this was such an important piece of writing that needed to be discussed. I think everyone knows about the events of the holocaust, but to hear it from this perspective with this level of facts really does show you how truly disgusting the entire thing was.
Following a true story, this book took you from one emotion to the next within a page. Honestly, I did not know I could get so heartbroken from words on a page. I had no idea about some of the things the victims had to endure, and it was gut wrenching.
