This book made me cry so much and then I cried a bit more when I remembered this was based on a true story. It is truly heartbreaking book and i will never forget it.

I couldn't imagine that different things that the people at Auscwhitz must have seen and the job of the main tattooist must have been awful. The tattoo is one of the potent symbols of the Holocaust and this book is an excellent homage to that.

While this is also a sad story it is also a love story and I think that really helped me get through the book. It is such a hard read so it managed to make it easier to have a bit of love and hope.

The history of the holocaust has been written about many times but I really think that this is an excellent book and there is even an excellent version for younger readers.

Heather Morris is brilliant and this book deserves all of the praise it has received. It is a must read.
