Got me guessing already!
I enjoy a good Thriller/Suspense and I’m always intrigued by what a book’s cover might tell the reader. This book has a beautiful cover depicting large ivy leaves which often symbolise eternity and strong attachments (love or friendship) and hardy environments ... so is this about the boarding school setting, as well as the main characters?
I’m curious to find out about the relationships of the two students, Louisa & Victoria, and their art teacher, Mr Lavelle, and how the themes of power, jealousy and desire link them.
The opening chapters are very atmospheric and foreboding ... I want to know more.
